Bringing Water Centre Stage at Gram Panchayat level - Integrated Rural Development Trust

On 7/12/2015 Inaugural function was conducted in Bodichipalli Panchayat of kezhamangalam block Tamil Nadu. Organized by IRDT-HUL, Hosur.

Inaugural function was arranged in front of Bodichipalli panchayat office .Started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu by Sanga members from selected working village.

Culture program was staged by Bodichipalli –Primary School Children and prizes also distributed in the presence of Mr.P.S.Sivakumar –President-Bodichiapalli panchayat and Mr.G.Nagarajan Chief Executive Director,IRDT, to the participated children.Block,Mr.P.S.Sivakumar –President.
Felicitation by Mr.P.S.Siva Kumar –President-Bodichiapalli panchayat,he described about IRDT –HUL activity yet to be doing in selected Eight village and its benefit . He expressed his happiness towards the selection of village in Bodichiapalli panchayat. Block,Mr.P.S.Sivakumar –President.

Key note Address by Mr,Rakesh kumar Jha- factory Manager [HUL-Hosur] where he highlighted the first time collaboration with IRDT implementing the Brining water center stage project in south side of hosur district in eight village. In his address he appreciated the support of people in these villages for the development of project. He emphasized the below areas:
- Livelihood development activity.
- Tree plantation program
- Promoting kitchen garden
- How to save water for agriculture development
- To ensure basic health care facilities and including rehabilitation for differently abled.
- Bank linkage for SHG members
- To encourage non formal and vocational skills ………………………etc

She expressed his happiness towards the selection of project in our eight villages of Bodichipalli Panchayat Kezhamangalam Block .HUL collaboration with IRDT implementing the Brining water center stage. Distributed 200 seed pockets for the people from eight villages and provided lunch for 130 peoples. Block,Mr.P.S.Sivakumar –President.
