Conflict Resolution

The project strictly follows certain guiding principles and ethical guidelines to avoid conflicts of interest. At all times, the staff of the organisation is expected to:

  • Avoid conflicts between personal and professional interests where possible;
  • Provide accurate and complete information in the course of fulfilling their obligations and communicate information in a timely manner;
  • Provide full, fair, accurate, timely, and understandable disclosure in reports required to be filed by the Organization with regulators and in other public communications made by the organization;
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and organization policies;
  • Seek guidance where necessary from a responsible supervisor;
  • Promptly report any violations of this code to the organization’s management and
  • Be accountable personally for adherence to this Code.

 

Any conflict of interest arising in the project related interventions will be documented and reported. Informed consent will normally be obtained from participants in all data collection and other physical activities involving human participation. The confidentiality of information supplied by the project participants and any agreement to grant anonymity to respondents will be respected. Integrity and quality will be ensured in case of both the design of project and its conduct. Where any conflicts of interest or partiality arise, these will be clearly stated prior to ethical approval being obtained.
